fees for speaking are $350.00 for up to a one
hour talk and $50.00 for each additional thirty
minutes. All travel expenses will be billed as
invoiced to greenbrier consultants (including
airfare or mileage at $.31 per mile and hotel
accomodations). Any handout will be billed at
$.11 per page for each attendee. A $250.00
retainer is due to schedule the talk and is non
refundable. Call for references on the quality
of our presentations.

. . who we are
Jim Monroe
Jim Monroe is the co-owner of Greenbrier
Nurseries Inc. Jim is a graduate of Virginia Tech
with a B.S. in Horticulture. He has over 15 years
of experience in plant propagation, container
plant production, garden design, garden retailing
and business management. Greenbrier Nursetries is
a progressive business with over 80 seasonal and
full time employees and retail stores in Beckley,
West Virginia and Roanoke, Virginia.
In
Talcott, West Virginia there are also two
production facilities that produce over 500,000
plants annually. The nursery specializes in
Japanese Maples and Hydrangeas but grows a broad
mix of plants including trees, shrubs, annuals
and perennials. Jim is a popular speaker in the
mid-atlantic region and enjoys golf and gardening
in his spare time.
Jennifer
Monroe
Jennifer Monroe is the co-owner of Greenbrier
Nurseries Inc. Jennifer studied horticulture at
the University of Maryland and received her
degree from Trident College in Charleston, South
Carolina in Horticulture. Jennifer has worked in
garden center management at two garden centers in
the Annapolis, Maryland area and has over 15
years of experience in merchandising, employee
relations and all facets of garden center
operations. Jennifer coordinates much of the
purchasing for Greenbrier Nurseries and heads up
the retail arm of the company. Jennifer is an
avid animal lover who spends much of her spare
time caring for her animals, golfing and
gardening.
